I’m Jack Eichner a multimedia artist from Hollywood Florida. From a young age I have always been captivated by the joy of creation. Growing up, I enjoyed doodling and exploring different arts and crafts. However, I never took it seriously or believed I could make a career from art, it was always just for a fun outlet. A few more years down the road I learned how to use photoshop in high school and that’s when the spark turned into a roaring flame. As it became time to apply for college, I was very against going into business, marketing, or other admired fields. I just knew that I needed to go into something that would take me down a different path. Loving creating digitally I thought there was limitless possibilities and went off to pursue my dreams as an artist. After starting college, I continued and started learning more about three-dimensional art and different practices. My art is focused both on the result but the journey to make. A playful and experimental process is a crucial ingredient to my practice. Through my work, I represent my joy and satisfaction that I had while making. You can recognize each little step and detail it took to reach the outcome. While creating in my flow state, I often feel a sudden intense excitement which I embody with each piece. I accomplish this by manipulating and connecting materials that remind me of some of my favorite slime and ASMR videos that cause a tingly sensation. My work often embraces user interaction and mindful touching is often encouraged.
